R E S T

Stress is the greatest contributor to our physical and mental health. The greatest answer to stress is rest.

R  E  S  T

R Remove all negative things in our heart - doubt and worries, anger, resentments, unforgiveness, and envy.

E Enter the secret place of the Lord with songs of praise, thanksgiving, and a contrite heart. Seek His face with song and weeping.

S Surrender all that weighs us down. Let the Lord take them. Let His touch cleanse us, heal us, and comfort us in His presence.

T Trust Him with our whole heart, believing.

Nice. The answer to stress is rest. I appreciate this. I want to live more restful in 2012.

Those four things will certainly give rest. I'm going to copy it in my journal to reread on "unrestful" days.

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
